Winter solstice is the first day of winter but this year it will be extra special! For the first time since the year 1226, the Great Conjunction will be visible in the night's sky all while moving into the age of the Aquarius! The Great Conjunction is when the planets Jupiter and Saturn will be so close to each other that they will look like they are touching!
Now is a good time to meditate and affirm all your needs, wants, and desires especially. To facilitate this process with a smooth transition into the new era, it would be wise to detox your mind, body, spirit, and environment.
• Declutter your thoughts and get them out on paper, talk with someone who can help you speak your truth without judgment. Check ALL your hair products and their expiration dates to get rid of ones that no longer serve you. Using old products on your hair can hinder your end-result because the ingredients get weaker overtime after being opened countless times with fluctuations in light and temperature exposure. Clean your home, rearrange your furniture, add some plants, smudge all the corners of every room. Limit television, be mindful of what you are watching on the screens because what we see on the TV (phones and all other devices) has a strong way of influencing our behavior and our thoughts which pushes you further away from your organic being. With so much negativity and uncertainty going on in the world, it would be best to keep your TV off and tune into more high vibrational music. If you must watch TV to help you decompress, try tuning into programs that are more uplifting, motivational, and encouraging.

• Detox your body by changing the way you eat. You can start by limiting or removing all processed foods and alcohol. AVOIDING fast food would be best but if you don't have time to cook, find restaurants that use all organic ingredients. Check your local supermarkets in your area that has food that is already prepared for you (whole foods has a nice selection of already made meals without the preservatives). Also, there are many meal subscription companies out there for a variety of dietary needs for just about every budget. This would be way better than hopping in the drive-thru.
When you detox your mind, body, spirit, and environment for the season change, this, in turn, will help your body to create new cells over time while counteracting the low energy we tend to have whenever there's a change in season. When detoxing for a few weeks/months, be sure to incorporate more plant-based foods into your diet.
These tips will help avoid hair loss because you will be on a higher vibration. When you have lower vibrational energy, this causes the body to not be at homeostasis. When the body is not at homeostasis, illness and diseases will manifest and can show up as hair loss.
