​ Zarinah Clark is a Licensed Master Cosmetologist, 2x Certified Trichologist, and Wellness Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in the beauty and wellness industry. She is an expert with a deep background in salon quality product education, extensive experience in professional hair care, and vast education in traditional solutions to health.

  Specializing in Non-Surgical Hair Restoration, her methodology focuses on working closely with guests, one-on-one, to assist in recovery of hair from various forms of alopecia and scalp maladies such as Seborrheic Dermatitis, Folliculitis, Alopecia Areata, Cicatricial Alopecia, Male and Female Pattern Baldness, and more. Zarinah's trichology services prioritize drugless methods combined with scientific advancements to create a customized restorative journey with the clients' overall well-being at the forefront. 

Zarinah is highly educated in identifying many forms of hair loss and scalp maladies in the early stages, which typically go undetectable by the average hair stylist. Her highly intuitive gift offers the opportunity for clients to practice root-cause, preventative measures through education while offering cuts, color and texture-empowered styles that embrace natural beauty. Highly skilled in all hair types, Zarinah has dedicated her career to go beyond the style of the hair, to focus on the wellbeing of her clients.

Scope of Practice

Important Expectations


  • Specialized Services: We offer two distinct areas of expertise: Trichology (focused on clinical scalp health, analysis, and identifying hair loss triggers) and Cosmetology (focused on styling, cutting, and coloring). 
 
  • Trichology Scope (Clinical/Health Focus):
    • Follicular Assessment: Scalp analysis, health history review, identifying hair loss triggers.
    • Customized Regimen: Formulation of topical regimens, or supplement recommendations, to restore hair due to alopecia.
    • Follow-up Monitoring: Periodic microscopic scalp checks to track progress.
 
  • Cosmetology Scope (Aesthetic/Styling Focus):
    • Chemical Services: Coloring, lightening, or texture changes.
    • Hair Design: Cutting/trimming, heat styling, wet styling
    • Maintenance: Shampooing, deep conditioning, and haircuts. 
 
  • Why this is important:  In the beginning stages of your hair journey, these services are kept separate so you receive dedicated, expert care for each specific need, ensuring the highest standard of service in both areas! Although enrollment in one specialized service does not grant automatic access to the other, Zarinah uses her extensive education and professional experience as the foundation to all healthy hair and wellness recommendations.​
